Mr. Kamal Ranjan Maiti

A retired school teacher from the local higher secondary school at Baikunthapur and a lover of music. Having been with BTS since 1989, he steers the organization as a mentor, safeguarding its ethos and ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations. His deep community connections inspire BTS to persistently support the underprivileged in Sunderban.
Mr. Susanta Giri
Secretary
A distinguished alumnus of the University of Calcutta with an Honours in English, Mr. Giri returned to his native Sunderban post his mother’s untimely passing. This event inspired his commitment to aiding the local underserved populace. He dreams of a world devoid of hunger, illness, and human rights abuses. Mr. Giri leads a humble life, immersing himself in the concerns of his community. He is blessed with a network of supporters, both domestic and international. His devotion to service is influenced by luminaries like Swami Vivekananda, Tagore, and Mother Teresa.
Mr. Haradhan Sahu

He has been a part of BTS since 1989, serving as the Head Teacher at Pathabhaban. His positive demeanor offers vital strategic support to BTS. Having been on board since BTS’s early days, he continues to be a proactive contributor to its mission, and his family even donated land to support the cause.
Mr. Haripado Jana
Treasurer
Having joined BTS in 2000, Mr. Jana’s expertise in financial management has been invaluable. Besides his primary role, he also teaches at the BTS-Pathabhaban School. A lover of music, he has cultivated a following among fellow enthusiasts.
Mrs. Pratima Naiya

An ASHA Worker for the Department of Health & Family Welfare, West Bengal, has previously contributed to BTS as a staff member and is currently a member of its Governing Body. Her experience and passion lie in the domain of Reproductive Child Health, specifically focusing on maternal and child health.
Mr. Ranjit Naiya

A nature enthusiast and cultivator, Mr. Naiya has been a guiding force at BTS since 2004. His high spirits and commitment to community welfare have consistently directed the BTS team’s initiatives.
Mrs. Manju Rani Maiti

An Anganwadi Worker with ICDS, West Bengal, Mrs. Maiti has rejoined the BTS Governing Body, bringing fresh and innovative perspectives to the table. With a knack for engaging children through games and educational activities, she remains a vital asset to BTS.
