Water & Sanitation -WATSAN BTS has been working to raise the level of awareness in the community on health and hygiene. Since unhygienic condition in this area prevails due to poor sanitation system and non availability of safe drinking water, our organization has initiated installation of tube wells in the villages for community people. Considering the poor economic condition of local people we have set a revolving loan fund to provide interest free loan to the poor rural families to develop their own latrines with initial financial help. We are hopeful to achieve the objective of this programme in the long run. Besides this, BTS also has started to construct 20 Household Sanitary Latrines (HSL) per year for the BTS-PathBhavan School Children’s Families. |
